“Shared Vision for a Better World”
Each year on 14 October, World Standards Day is celebrated to raise awareness about the need for the global standardization of materials, products, processes, services, and systems. Equally important, this day recognizes the collaborative efforts of thousands of experts worldwide who develop international standards.

In support of the Barbados Energy Policy 2019-2030, the BNSI is working to establish an energy efficiency labelling scheme in Barbados.
BNSI is actively participating with the CROSQ and other CARICOM Member States to create a much needed standard for Non-medical face masks, that is a standard for masks for personal every-day use.
